Some Excellent Pro-family Presentations
We Cosponsored at the UN

Dear #Salutation#,

As promised in our last newsletter, we are providing you with links to the excellent expert presentations given at the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) meetings in Geneva as part of our “Protection of the Family” UN side event series.

Part I of the series of events in Geneva (see below) features remarks by Dr. Bradford Wilcox, Bruce C. Hafen, and a presentation to the UN delegations of “The Declaration on the Rights of Children and Their Families” by a group of children.

You won’t want to miss the clip of the children sharing their experience at the UN launching this important Declaration. Click here to hear from these children inviting other children, youth and parents across the world to sign this important declaration which outlines the rights of children and families based largely on the provisions of international human rights treaties.

Already we have signatures from children and parents in over 100 countries, but we need many more signatures before we can present it to the UN in New York. Please sign the Declaration yourself here if you have not already done so and encourage others to sign it as well!

This series of events was organized by Family Watch International, the UN Family Rights Caucus, and many other pro-family organizations (see the list below).

We will be sending you the links to the expert presentations given at Part II and Part III of the “Protection of the Family” side event series in subsequent emails.

We hope you will take the time to watch each of the presentations and learn from them!

Description of Event:

Dr. Brad Wilcox presents new research showing the protective factor stable families have on children. Renowned legal scholar, Bruce Hafen, explains the difference between children’s protection rights, autonomous rights and choice rights in the context of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. He examines where parental rights end and children’s autonomous rights begin. Enjoy a special presentation by children who launched “The Declaration on the Rights of Children and Their Families.”
