Parental rights, religious freedom, freedom of speech and constitutional rights are all at risk in Utah!
Please help us stop the State of Utah from banning therapy that helps gender-confused children accept their biological sex or that helps children with unwanted same-sex attraction.
Governor Herbert of Utah has directed the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL) to file a new rule banning so-called “conversion therapy,” and it could take effect at the end of this month!
Equality Utah, an LGBTQ advocacy group, has labeled Utah as “ground zero” for this issue. It is critical to protect talk therapy for children in Utah to help stop the progression of this dangerous effort.
Your help is needed ASAP. Please email the governor so we can flood his office with opposition to this rule.

Take a few minutes to write even just a one- or two-paragraph email asking Governor Herbert to reject this rule. You can use our talking points below or even just tell the governor you oppose the ban as it violates the rights of children and parents. It can be that simple. Please contact the governor by January 14.
Please also send an email to the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, which will be deciding on the ban. You can copy the same information you send to the governor and paste it in an email to DOPL. They are accepting comments until January 14, and they need to hear from as many of us as possible as soon as possible.
