In recognition of the International Day of the Girl Child celebrated by the United Nations on October 11, 2021, Family Watch International (FWI) calls upon governments to step up their efforts to protect young girls from sexual exploitation and violence.
Every girl has the right to a healthy childhood free from sexual exploitation. In this regard, Family Watch condemns the programs promoted by UN agencies and donor countries that prematurely sexualize young girls through explicit comprehensive sexuality education. Sexually active girls are at a higher risk for violence, abuse, exploitation and other adverse health outcomes.
We therefore encourage policymakers, parents, grandparents and all concerned citizens to recognize this assault on the health and innocence of girls worldwide by watching “The War on Children: The Comprehensive Sexuality Education Agenda” available in 14 languages at WaronChildren.org. Please then share this video with others, and take a stand with Family Watch for the protection of young girls and boys by signing the Stop CSE petition at StopCSE.org.
