DOJ INVESTIGATING THREE MICHIGAN SCHOOL DISTRICTS OVER SEX ED, HEALTH COURSE CONTENT. The Detroit Public Schools Community District, Godfrey-Lee Public Schools, and the Lansing Public School District are being investigated by the DOJ to see if they are teaching any content in pre-k through 12th grade classes relating to sexual orientation and gender ideology, and, if they are, whether the schools notified parents of their right to opt their children out of these lessons. ALABAMA SENATOR PREFILES BILL THAT WOULD CHANGE SEXUAL EDUCATION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Sen. LAST-MINUTE CHANGE TO INDIANA HUMAN SEXUALITY BILL REMOVES NEED TO TEACH CONSENT. A last-minute change to an Indiana General Assembly bill on human sexuality instruction in Indiana’s K-12 schools eliminates a proposed requirement that such instruction teach the importance of consent to sexual activity. MASSACHUSETTS TEACHERS REFUSE TO LET MIDDLE SCHOOLERS OPT OUT OF GRAPHIC SEX CLASS. Middle school students in Burlington, Massachusetts were asked in a graphic survey if they’ve ever had sex or used vaginal sex toys and how they describe their sexual orientation, angering parents of the children. SEX EDUCATION REMOVALS QUADRUPLE IN THE WAKE OF SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT GENDER REFORM DEBATE. The number of children being pulled out of school sex education lessons more than quadrupled in the wake of the gender reform debate.
